A New Look for your Gmail Inbox – Google+ Style
Right after the Google+ launch the Gmail user interface was also updated soon to match the awesome Google+ design/style. See below…

If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s because you are using a custom theme for your Gmail.
Activate the Google+ Theme for Gmail
Step 1 : Go to your Mail Settings <url> (Click the gear icon at top right).
Step 2 : Click on the "Themes" tab and then scroll down to the bottom.
Step 3 : The last 2 named Preview and Preview (Dense) are 2 new Gmail themes that resemble the Google+ interface. Click to select any one.
The "Preview" themes make your Gmail interface look like Google+ and has some added features like you can search both your emails or the web directly from the search bar.
The New Google Plus Style Search Interface
Google has also updated the search interface on google.com (Go to google.com/ncr to reset) to match the new Google+ design and its looks great. (see below)
The new interfaces are really cool and elegantly styled. Also, thanks to Google+ there are new stuff coming on the way. So, lots of new things to do and try out in the coming few days. Happy Google-ing !!!
