After Twitter updated their design and introduced OAuth, they removed the RSS feed icon from the user profiles which makes it difficult for followers to subscribe to a person’s twitter timeline via any RSS feed reader.
Getting someone’s twitter updates via RSS feed is an useful option if you are not much into twitter and yet you want to follow someone’s daily updates he/she posts on his twitter account.
How to Subscribe Twitter Tweets, Updates from a Person via RSS
Although twitter removed the RSS feed icons on the design but the RSS feed feature still works. Simply enter the twitter username of the account you want to follow via RSS in the form below and click "Get RSS link" button.
Once you get the RSS feed link above, simply copy the link and add it to anydesktop feed readers you’re using (Doesn’t work with Google Reader). The next time the user posts any update/tweet you will be able to read it via your RSS reader.

Simply change the username ‘kastaone‘ to any other username and the resulting url should pull the latest tweets from that user via RSS (.atom works too).
This may not be of much use if you are active on twitter, but since I don’t use twitter much I find it very useful to follow people this way.
Another useful tip would be to merge multiple RSS feeds into one single feed and then subscribe to it. This way you can create a list of rss feeds of the twitter accounts you want to follow using the technique above and then merge them into a single feed you can follow via your RSS reader.
In case if you want read all tweets on your timeline without logging into twitter directly your reader you can generate a RSS feed with OAuth using an online an online app. called Twitter2RSS (link) which translates all the tweets from the people you’re following into a RSS feed so you can read them from you reader.
